Privacy policy

• We collect what you give us: your email address, your photos, your measurements, and the details of your project.
• We use it to design and make your organizers, and to talk with you about your order.
• Your photos are stored privately. Nobody can browse them, and only the people working on your project can see them.
• We do not run advertising trackers and we do not sell your information.

What you give us. When you send in a design request we collect the photos of your space, the measurements you enter, descriptions of what you store, your answers to our follow-up questions, and any notes you add. If you create an account we also keep your email address and name.

How you sign in. You can create an account with an email and password, or sign in with Google. With Google sign-in we receive the name and email address on your Google account. We never see your Google password.

Order details. When you approve a design, we keep a record of the approved proof, the price, and the shipping address you give us so we can produce and ship your order.

Basic usage data. Like most websites, our hosting keeps standard technical logs such as which pages were visited, the browser type, and error reports if something breaks. We use this to keep the site working and to understand which parts of it people use. We do not use this data for advertising.

• To ask follow-up questions when we need one more measurement or detail.
• To email you updates about your project, proofs, and orders.
• To produce, pack, and ship your organizers.
• To handle returns, replacements, and the one-year limited warranty.
• To keep the site secure and fix problems.

We use AI features, provided through our app platform’s AI gateway (models from Google and OpenAI), to help review your submission and suggest follow-up questions, and to prepare preview renderings of your design. Your photos and project details are sent to those models for this purpose. Every project is reviewed by a person before we make anything, and the AI never decides your dimensions for you. Your measurements, as you entered them, are what we build to.

Payments are handled by Stripe, a payment processor. When you pay, your card details go directly to Stripe and we never see or store your full card number. We keep a record of the amount, date, and payment status for your order so we can provide receipts and handle refunds.

We share your information only with the services we need to run Acorn Custom: our app platform (Lovable) for hosting, the database, sign-in, and file storage; Google and OpenAI through the AI gateway described above; Stripe for payments; and our email service for order updates. We also share your shipping address with the carrier so your order can reach you. We do not sell your information and we do not share it for anyone else’s advertising.

When you sign in, we store a sign-in session in your browser so you stay logged in between visits. That is the only persistent storage we use on your device. We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.

We keep your project photos, measurements, and order records for as long as your account is active and for the period covered by our one-year limited replacement warranty, so we can remake an organizer if something goes wrong. You can ask us to delete your account and project data at any time; if an order is still in progress, we will confirm what we need to keep to finish it.

• You can use the design flow without an account. We only ask for one when you send a design in.
• You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you.
• You can ask us to correct or delete your information.
• You can ask us to remove your photos while keeping your project active.

Your photos and project files are stored privately and reached only through expiring secure links. Information travels over encrypted connections, and access is limited to the people who work on your project. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information and will let you know if anything ever goes wrong.

Acorn Custom is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page. If a change is significant, we will also mention it in your project emails.
